NEWS UPDATE

The generosity of so many people and organisations never ceases to amaze everybody at Ty Olwen. Their support helps the staff to continue to provide the best possible service to our patients and their families, which makes Ty Olwen so different.

Thanks to the members of Pontardulais English Presbyterian Church for their kind donation of £50 towards the “marvellous work Ty Olwen does”.

£224-61 has been received from Elim City Temple being the proceeds of a Craft Fayre held there recently.

Congratulations to Mr Tom Williams  on celebrating his 80th birthday. Mr Williams kindly asked for donations to be given to Ty Olwen rather than receive gifts and we thank him and his family and friends for the £150 received.

Thanks also to Colin Jones of Enterprise 2000 for generously giving us discount on a fridge purchased for the tea tent at Singleton Park ‘Botanics in Bloom 2013’

Hello!

I DID IT! I REACHED THE SUMMIT OF KILIMANJARO!

The trek was extremely difficult and the summit night was such a struggle, but I was determined to reach the top and did so! All 17 of my group made it! It was a fantastic achievement! I loved every minute of the trip and made some great friends.

Tom.

P.S Just to remind you Tom has raised over £4,600 for Ty Olwen.
