Holy Cross Ladies again!

The ladies of Holy Cross Charity Shop, Gendros have done it yet again and for the seventh year running have, despite Covid 19, raised an incredible £2,262 for Ty Olwen. The ladies, now led by Sam Smale and Julie Sherratt, arrange all sorts of fundraising events during the year from coffee mornings, raffles and cake sales. Just before lockdown they had their “Ladies Night” at Mecca Bingo and with their support raised £262 that night. Sam and Julie tell me that they are already raising money for 2021 with over £300 raised in cake sales already. Thanks again to Sam, Julie, Angela, Mo, Nicky, Shelley and stalwarts Rosa and Betty and all who help to raise this money for us.
