Day’s do it again!
Donna’s Tuck Shop at Day’s Garngoch have done it again handing in a further £321 bringing the total donated since December 2012 to £1817. Thank you Donna and your colleagues.
Annual General Meeting

A warm welcome is extended to you to join us at this year’s Annual General Meeting of the Ty Olwen Trust which will be held at Ty Olwen on Tuesday November 19th at 6pm.
In Memory of Brett Davies
Rhodri Davies is seen presenting a cheque for £5,661.00 to the Chairman when he visited Ty Olwen last week. Rhodri took part in the Tough Mudder event in Tenby and then organised the Charity Night in Brighton Road Club to raise funds for Ty Olwen in memory of his friend Brett Davies. Since making the presentation Rhodri has handed over a further £105.00.
At the request of Brett Davies’s daughters part of the proceeds form the event in Brighton Road have been used to purchase a piece of equipment for the Gym where Brett trained local boys to become boxers.

Friends of Ty Olwen Christmas Raffle
Thanks again to Mrs Gaynor Williams for so generously donating the magnificent hampers as first and second prize in the Friends Christmas Raffle. All the extras you need for a fabulous feast at Christmas is there so why not try your luck and support our raffle. Tickets are on sale in the Ty Olwen Shop in High Street, Ty Olwen in Morriston Hospital and from Friends and Trustees.
Christmas Fayre

Please come along and support Siloam’s Christmas Fayre on Saturday November 16th between 10.00 and 2.00 with all proceeds going to Ty Olwen, their chosen charity for the year.
Evening Post Continues to Support Ty Olwen

Swansea Dog Training Club
The Chairman attended a meeting of the Swansea Dog Training Club to receive a cheque for £500 that members had raised through a sponsored walk with their dogs. A similar amount was handed to the Dogs Trust.

A recent visitor to Ty Olwen was Muriel Phillips who supports her son in law (Martin Mahoney) each year by raising sponsorship money for his half marathon from friends at the Penlan Social Club. thank you Muriel and to all your friends.
