Thank you to the Blue Scar Club in Pontrhydyfen for hosting a Charity Fundraising Night last Bank Holiday Sunday in memory of the late Liz Hopes who passed away in Ty Olwen in June this year. A magnificent £2542 was raised and thanks must go to Sharon Vanstone and Christine Vaughan for their organisational skills and who along with Liz’s husband David recently visited Ty Olwen to present a cheque.
