It was in November 2017 that we first had the pleasure of meeting Jo Williams and her daughters Darcie and Maddi, her niece Alex and their friend Atlanta who had raised £1,600 for Ty Olwen by running the Swansea 10K. Jo was in for a few days and in the words of the girls “Having seen at first hand the amazing care and support they offer to their patients, we really wanted to give something back to this place” Sadly Jo passed away in January but the family have continued raising money for Ty Olwen and Sister Karren was delighted to welcome them last Thursday when they presented an amazing amount of £6,849.95
