Alice and Wynne Harry of Garden Village recently celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary and asked family and friends not to buy them presents but to make a small donation to Ty Olwen instead. They were married at Bethel Chapel Penclawdd on the 7th July 1959. Ty Olwen Trust Minute Secretary Kate Murray collected the gift of £350 on behalf of the Trustees and with her forthcoming marriage next week took the opportunity to ask Mr and Mrs Harry what the secret of a long and happy marriage was.
