Another recent visitor to Ty Olwen was Tia Meaden who decided to cut her long, long hair to donate to the Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children who lose their own hair through treatment for cancer. She also raised £1000 in sponsorship which was divided between them and Ty Olwen who looked after her grandmother three years ago. Tia presented the money to Helen Murray and Nicola Powis during her visit.
